![]() Andrea Lanzafame Campos is in her third tour of duty at Cal. The first was as a student in the 70s (Class of 1975); While a student at Cal, Andrea was very active in spirit activities and political campaigns. She was a Cal Pom Pon Girl from 1972-74; she served on Rally Committee; Lair of the Bear staffer (Camp Blue) and a member of Kappa Alpha Theta. On the political side, she was ASUC Vice-President and served as a Cal in the Capitol intern in Washington DC. After graduating from Cal, she attended an inferior, private university in Southern California. and earned a masters degree in public administration. More importantly met her future husband, David Cole Campos, while she was there. She and David have two children, Phil and Elizabeth, both in the Cal Band this fall. |

![]() Andrea's second tour was as development director for the Haas School of Business (1984-91). She has spent her career in non-profit development and management. In addition to the Haas School, she worked for Hospice of Contra Costa and St. Marys College prior to returning to Cal. In her volunteer time, Andrea just completed a three-year term on the Cal Alumni Association Board of Directors and continues to be involved in their strategic planning process. She serves on the Cal Band Benefit Dinner Committee and studies Italian. |

In her current position in the
Athletic Development Office, she works with major donors and assists them
in fulfilling their philanthropy to Cal Athletics, including establishing
endowed scholarships, donating to capital projects such as the
Student-Athlete High Performance Center and annual fund contributions to
meet Bear Backer benefit requirements. In addition, she works with
specific teams assisting them in increasing donations to their
programs. Those teams are Track and Field, Women's Golf, Softball,
Volleyball, Men's and Women's Soccer, and Women's Tennis. She also works with
of volunteers and is in the process of forming a volunteer fund-raising
committee for the Athletic Department that will assist in contacting new
and current donors. She is a liaison for the Andrea is thrilled to be back at Cal, especially during this very exciting time under Sandy Barbour's leadership and in what will be known as the Tedford Era. Andrea can be reached at: acampos@berkeley.edu > |
